Delivery Driver

Our delivery drivers are the final step in bringing our designs to life.

You will deliver seasonal planters to residential and commercial customers while representing Simple and Grand with professionalism and care. Our customers look forward to their deliveries, and you are a big part of that experience.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable driving a 16 foot box truck
  • Clean driving record
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Dependable and detail oriented
  • Friendly and respectful when interacting with customers

Compensation: $20 to $27 per hour

Greenhouse and Production Crew
  • Faribault, MN – Full Time & Part Time

Our greenhouse crews are responsible for filling pots with soil, transplanting young plants, watering daily, loading and unloading trucks, and fulfilling orders with care and accuracy.

This is physical, rewarding work that directly contributes to the beauty our customers see each season.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable working in a greenhouse environment
  • Able to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Able to lift 25 to 50 pounds regularly
  • Team oriented and dependable

Compensation: Up to $18 per hour

Operations Administrator
  • Faribault, MN – Full Time

The Administrative Operations Coordinator is a hybrid administrative, operations, logistics, and customer-facing role. This person will work directly with the CEO and support multiple areas of the business, including staffing schedules, production/install teams, wholesale customers, billing, delivery coordination, vendor communication, and quality standards.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, calm under pressure, strong with communication, and comfortable helping coordinate people, details, and deadlines in a fast-moving seasonal business. The pace of this role will be especially quick during peak spring and winter seasons.

Responsibilities

Staffing, Scheduling & Team Coordination:

  • Support staffing schedules across production, install, delivery, and operations teams
  • Help coordinate daily and weekly team priorities during busy seasons
  • Assist with scheduling drivers, production teams, install teams, and seasonal support staff
  • Communicate clearly with team members regarding timing, expectations, and task ownership
  • Help delegate tasks and keep teams moving efficiently
  • Support team accountability while maintaining a positive and humble leadership style

Wholesale Customer Coordination

  • Work directly with wholesale customers, including garden centers, fundraisers, and retailers
  • Coordinate wholesale delivery details, billing, timelines, and logistics
  • Communicate order updates, delivery expectations, and customer needs
  • Provide strong customer service and timely follow-up
  • Help ensure wholesale customers receive a professional and organized experience

Billing, Invoicing & Collections

  • Create invoices in QuickBooks
  • Coordinate billing details with customers and internal team members
  • Follow up on outstanding balances and collections
  • Maintain organized records related to customer orders, invoices, and payments
  • Communicate professionally and clearly on billing-related issues

Logistics & Delivery Support

  • Use routing software to help coordinate deliveries and logistics
  • Support delivery scheduling and communication with customers and internal teams
  • Help troubleshoot delivery timing, freight needs, and customer coordination
  • Maintain records for vehicle fleet and DOT compliance
  • Assist with communication between office, greenhouse, loading, delivery, and install teams

Loading & Quality Standards

  • Help support the loading process to ensure orders meet Simple and Grand quality standards
  • Assist in checking that products, décor, and materials are organized and prepared properly
  • Help identify issues before orders leave the facility
  • Support brand consistency and customer-facing quality expectations
  • Work with the team to improve loading accuracy and reduce mistakes

Vendor Relationship Management

  • Coordinate and manage vendor relationships
  • Communicate with vendors regarding orders, timelines, deliveries, product needs, and service expectations
  • Help keep vendor information, communication, and follow-up organized
  • Support leadership in maintaining strong vendor partnerships

Administrative & Internal Support

  • Support internal initiatives as directed by the CEO
  • Help improve systems, communication, and operational workflows
  • Use Microsoft Office tools to organize schedules, reports, lists, and communications
  • Help bridge communication between leadership, operations, customer service, and production teams

Systems & Tools

  • QuickBooks

  • Experience in seasonal operations, wholesale, retail, greenhouse, landscaping, home services, or logistics is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Regional Business Development Manager
  • Full Time

The Regional Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth within an assigned market. This role combines proactive sales, customer retention, relationship management, and local market development.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, personable, and comfortable pursuing new business without relying solely on inbound leads. This person should enjoy building relationships, identifying opportunities, following up consistently, and representing the Simple and Grand brand in a professional and energetic way.

Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Proactively pursue new residential and commercial customers within the assigned market
  • Identify and contact high-potential prospects, including businesses, neighborhoods, property managers, HOAs, offices, restaurants, retailers, and homeowners
  • Build a consistent sales pipeline through outreach, referrals, networking, local partnerships, and in-market prospecting
  • Follow up with prospects and convert opportunities into seasonal customers
  • Represent Simple and Grand professionally in all sales conversations

Customer Retention & Account Growth

  • Build strong relationships with existing customers, especially larger accounts
  • Ensure key clients are happy, supported, and unlikely to cancel
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer accounts across seasons
  • Communicate customer needs, concerns, and feedback to the internal team
  • Help maintain a premium customer experience from sale through delivery

Market Growth

  • Own market-level growth goals and help drive strong annual growth
  • Work closely with marketing and customer service to convert demand into sales
  • Support local brand awareness and reputation within the assigned market
  • Track prospects, sales activity, customer feedback, and growth opportunities
  • Help Simple and Grand become the preferred seasonal planter and decor provider in the market

Internal Collaboration

  • Coordinate with operations, logistics, customer service, and leadership to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Communicate market trends, customer preferences, and competitive insights
  • Help improve sales processes, retention systems, and local growth strategies
  • Participate in regular performance and pipeline reviews
