Our design team creates a unique arrangement for every season using plants selected to thrive in your sun or shade conditions. Each planter is carefully built to look beautiful the day it arrives and continue flourishing throughout the season. When the seasons change, our team returns to deliver your new planter and remove the previous arrangement for composting. All you need to do is water and enjoy.

How Seasonal Delivery Works
Each planter delivery corresponds with the start of a new season. Your subscription includes deliveries for the following seasons:

You are billed once every quarter.
When the next season arrives our team will:
- Deliver your new seasonal planter
- Place it in your requested location
- Remove the previous arrangement
- Compost and recycle plant materials

Our Master Gardener carefully selects plants that will thrive throughout the entire season so your entryway stays welcoming from the first day of delivery to the final weeks of the season. We handle the design, planting, delivery, and seasonal swap so you can simply enjoy the results.
Planter Size and Sun Requirements
Our seasonal planters are available in six sizes to fit entryways, patios, porches, and commercial spaces. Each planter can be designed for either full sun or shade conditions.
Full Sun
- 6+ hours of direct sunlight per day
- Typically south or west facing locations
Shade
- Less than 6 hours of direct sunlight
- Typically north or east facing locations
Selecting the correct sunlight option helps ensure your planter thrives all season long.
Local Delivery Service
Simple and Grand does not ship planters through parcel carriers. All planters are delivered locally by our team to ensure they arrive healthy, beautiful, and ready for outdoor display.
Delivery timing is weather based so plants arrive when outdoor conditions are appropriate for your region. Customers are notified by email or text message a few days before their scheduled delivery.

Planters are delivered at the beginning of each season based on local weather conditions. Delivery timing can vary slightly each year because we wait until outdoor conditions are appropriate for the plants. Customers receive an email or text notification a few days before delivery.

Availability depends on your zip code. Customers can confirm service availability on the planter page before ordering.
Can I order more than one planter?
Yes. Many customers order multiple planters for front entries, patios, garages, and outdoor living spaces. Simply adjust the quantity before adding the planter to your cart. Each planter will receive its own seasonal design and delivery.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
If you cancel your planter subscription, the seasonal plant insert remains with you. The permanent container is part of our rental program and will be retrieved during the next seasonal service window.
