Refund policy
Because Simple and Grand provides custom, seasonal planters delivered at specific times of year, our return and refund policies differ from traditional ecommerce stores.
Please review the information below before purchasing or modifying your subscription.
Seasonal Products and Refunds
All Simple and Grand planters are seasonal, perishable products designed for outdoor display and timed delivery.
For this reason:
- We do not offer refunds once you have been billed for an upcoming season
- All seasonal charges are final after the billing date
If you cancel after a billing date, the current season will be delivered as your final delivery.
Billing Dates
Seasonal billing occurs on the following dates:
- Spring: February 1
- Summer: May 1
- Fall: August 1
- Winter: November 1
Cancellations made after these dates apply to future seasons only.
Planter Quality Issues
Your satisfaction matters to us.
If there is an issue with your planter upon delivery:
- Please contact us as soon as possible after delivery
- Issues must be reported within 14 days of delivery
When care instructions have been followed, Simple and Grand will fix or replace the planter if needed within that 14 day window.
Refunds are not issued for seasonal planters, but replacements or corrections may be provided at our discretion.
Weather and Seasonal Lifespan
Each planter is designed to thrive for a typical seasonal lifespan. It is normal for arrangements to begin declining as the season progresses or before the next seasonal delivery arrives.
Following the provided care instructions, including watering, pruning, dead heading, and weather protection, will help maximize longevity.
Decline due to normal seasonal changes or weather conditions is not eligible for refund.

Cancellations:
- Do not result in refunds for seasons already billed
- Take effect for future billing cycles only
Permanent Container Charges and Returns
Permanent containers are provided as part of a rental program and remain the property of Simple and Grand.
If a container is not available for retrieval when service is canceled or skipped:
- The customer will be charged for the container
If charged, the container may be returned within 14 days for a full refund.
Replacement container charges:
- Signature: $79.99
- Signature Plus Round: $124.99
- Signature Plus Square: $179.99
- Signature Plus Platinum: $224.99
Gift Cards
Gift cards are non-refundable and have no cash value. Gift cards may be applied toward eligible Simple and Grand products and subscriptions.
